The ideas are taking shape. I have a fairly worked out plan on what this new “enabling platform”, as I like to think of it, should be all about. Partnerships are being worked out, and meanwhile I’m building prototypes.

Meanwhile, I’d like to ask the few readers that stumble upon this site to give their feedback. Not necessarily about pVoice, but also other AAC devices, switch enabled other pieces of software…what’s good, what’s bad, what kind of software do you need that’s not out there yet?

Please tell me your experiences. If I can, I’ll take your comments into account in what’s coming up next!

The next pVoice version will be different. Very different. In fact, pVoice will no longer be developed as a standalone application, although I think I will eventually create an installer that gives you the same functionality as the current pVoice gives you. Read the rest of this entry »

OK, here it is! You can finally download pVoice 2.2 beta 5 from this site again! Still a beta? Well, that depends on how you define “beta”. It’s certainly not beta quality, since this very version is what my daughter Krista has been using since before I published it years ago. It simply never crashed, except because of Windows XP failing.
I haven’t yet changed anything since this version was released on November 4, 2004. However, since I’m progressing in getting a development environment set up again, you can expect me to further develop pVoice.
